Easy to install
Fiat 500 key covers can be a great option to update your keys. They are available in a range of styles and colors, so you can pick the perfect one to match your style. You can install them yourself in ten minutes. You only need an electric screwdriver and a bit of patience. The first step is to take off the cover. This needs to be removed before the new cover can be installed.
After removing the old cover Use an flat-head screwdriver to take out the four major attachment clips on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked with red on the image below. Also note the tabs that locate slots shown in yellow that require disengagement in addition.
After removing the battery replace it with a new # CR2032 3 Volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery corresponds to the opening in the fob and that the -" negative side is facing towards the buttons made of rubber.
Re-attach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the tabs that locate it. Once you have completed this, insert the driver side fob back in your car and test it by pressing the button on the front of the car key. If everything is working properly the parking lights will be lit and the doors should automatically shut.
Easy to remove

When you remove the metal key, you will see the small silver-colored round switch with images of an unlocked and locked padlock on top of it. This is the battery switch for the key fob. The battery is simple to replace by turning the switch for a quarter turn using a small screwdriver with a flat head.
